Professor Nándor Mikola`s Art Foundation operates in Vaasa, Finland in the address Koulukatu 7. Art Library consists of Mikola`s art works that can be lended by private customers as well as organisations and companies.
It is possible to explore the art works in the Foundation`s premises. There are also gift cards available to purchase.

ART FOUNDATION
The Professor Nándor Mikola Art Foundation was founded in Vaasa in 1993. The foundation promotes and supports Ostrobothnian fine arts, maintains its art collection and Art Library for art lending, and exhibits Nándor Mikola's artistic production.
ART LIBRARY
Private, associations and companies can borrow Nándor Mikola's works of art from Art Mikola's Art Library. The customer pays a monthly loan fee and the loan period ends when the work is returned. It is also possible to pay monthly payments equal to the sale price of the work, in which case the borrower redeems the work for himself.
NÁNDOR MIKOLA
Watercolor artist Nándor Mikola (1911-2006) was born in Budapest, Austria-Hungary and did his life's work in Finland, mainly in Ostrobothnia. He studied graphics and painting in his native country as well as in Vienna and Helsinki. He lived in Finland since 1936.
The closest topic of Nándor Mikola's art was nature and its details. His favorites were landscapes, trees, branches and flowers alongside abstract subjects. He also liked to paint various still lifes. Several works move between the figurative and abstract arts. Creating and reducing the atmosphere was typical of Nándor Mikola`s artistic expression.
Nándor Mikola acted as a reformer of watercolor art and raised its awareness and appreciation.
